About Jaimee

Jaimee is new to working with Sun and Snow Childcare for the 2018/19 season. Originally from Australia, Jaimee is now a Samoens expat and has been here for several years. During this time she has nannied for several local families . Having also been a ski nanny in other resorts she knows how it all works. Jaimee has experience of all ages but specialises with under 5's. Her past families love her and can't recommend her highly enough.

"Hello, I’m Jaimee. Coming from a large family (8 siblings!) I have always had a love for children. I trained at a nursery in Australia and gained my Certificate 3 in Children’s Services. I have 7 years experience working in various settings such as nurseries, live-in and live-out nannying as well as 2 seasons as a holiday nanny for children up to 12 years old. I am fully insured and have a Paediatric First Aid certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training. "

"Nannying has taken me to many countries around the world including England, France, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain although it is here in Samoëns that I have settled. I believe the mountains are the perfect place for kids to explore and I love spending as much time as possible outdoors where children can really let their imaginations run wild!"

Jaimee worked for two seasons in our childcare team in Les Gets. Jaimee is very knowledgeable about caring for children in childcare of all ages, but especially the 0- 3yrs age group. Jaimee would provide fun and engaging pro –active activities in a safe environment for the children in her care. She would often be mentioned for having a positive relationship with those children.

Jaimee was an integral part of our childcare team, caring for children aged from 3 months to 12 years, on a daily basis. Jaimee is of a caring and considerate disposition towards all children in her care, and also towards her peers. She is always looking for perfection in all the tasks she performs.

“We have 3 spirited daughters aged 4, 5 and 7. We love spending big days out in the mountains and that often means early starts, overnight camps and missing school pick ups. In the absence of grandparents living locally, Jaimee is our saviour in making family logistics work. Kind, flexible and reliable. Our kids always love it when we tell them Jaimee is coming.”

Jaimee regularly looked after our little boy and his friend around the time he was one year old, and we found her a delight to work with - reliable, always on time, kind, caring and creative. Jaimee has a real gift to understand and connect with small people and it shows in how much they love spending time with her. I could always relax knowing he was being looked after so well, and of course highly recommend her.
